Recently my painting “The Lesson was juried into the prestigious Joan L Dunfey annual juried competition in Portsmouth NH. This is a large 36” x 48” acrylic on canvas painting of a woman reading to a boy in Provincetown,MA. The Pilgrim Monument is in the background. A gallion ship can be seen alsobehing them. She wears a helmet as she reads about the vikiarrot sits on the boys head. In the foreground a bobcat signifying secrets has a patched eye.
